At Lanko Altas Montañas, we understand that mules are an essential part of Aconcagua's history and logistics. That is why animal welfare is a priority in every expedition: we work with experienced muleteers and promote responsible handling and continuous care for the animals.
We also prioritize lower-impact transportation methods, minimizing the use of helicopter flights whenever possible for cargo transport. By doing so, we help reduce noise and environmental impact in this unique natural setting.
